This haunted house treatment was a part of a Writing for Theme Park Haunts course with Ted Dougherty. Our prompt was to create a house around a creature from the mythology of our heritage. I chose the Golem, a creature made from clay and controlled by a master, from my Jewish heritage.
The full treatment includes a logline and high concept, technical breakdowns, narrative descriptions and reference images for 10 scenes, character sheets for 14 characters, and beat lists for a themed in-world queue video and an attraction teaser trailer.
